Risk management and trade surveillance
Rule design, A-book and B-book logic, exposure limits, and detection of toxic flow across accounts.
We help prop trading firms and FX/CFD brokers scale without losing control of risk, liquidity and margins. Risk rules, trade surveillance, platform and bridge setup, payout economics and payments, under one team, so nothing falls between vendors.
Figures reflect past roles and engagements. Past results do not guarantee future results; outcomes vary firm by firm. Details
Platforms and infrastructure we operate
Some firms need someone to run the function. Others already have a team and need senior capacity on the hard parts. We do both.
We act as your risk and platform team, day to day, across risk, dealing, platforms, bridge and payouts.
Keep your people. Add senior expertise for the problems that cost the most when they go wrong.
Pick the closest match. Each one shows what we check first and what you get at the end.
Most firms hire a risk consultant, a platform vendor, a bridge provider and a payments contact, then spend their time making them talk to each other. We cover all of it.
Rule design, A-book and B-book logic, exposure limits, and detection of toxic flow across accounts.
New builds, day-to-day administration and migrations across MT4, MT5, Match-Trader, cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker.
Bridge configuration, routing rules, LP selection and symbol mapping, with ongoing execution review.
Payout review against your rules with account-level evidence, payout policy design, and liability forecasting before it lands.
Challenge structure, drawdown and consistency rules, pricing, timed and instant products, benchmarked against your competitors.
Entity setup, AML and KYB policy, and PSP and crypto integration, so you can take payments and pay traders without frozen accounts.
A strategy deck does not fix a bridge route. Here is the difference in practice.
| Area | Typical risk consultant | OmegaRatio Advisors |
|---|---|---|
| Risk rules and surveillance | Yes | Yes, plus the queries and alerts to run it |
| Platform configuration | Refers you to a vendor | Hands-on across six platforms |
| Bridge and LP routing | Out of scope | Setup, mapping and execution review |
| Payout economics | High level | Modeled per program and per cohort |
| Registration, AML and PSPs | Out of scope | Entity, policy and payment integration |
| Scope and pricing | Often quoted after several calls | Fixed scope and price agreed before work starts |
We talk through your setup, your numbers and what is going wrong. No system access and no NDA needed yet.
Under NDA with read-only access, we review your rules, platform config, flow and payouts, then hand you a short report ranked by money at risk.
We implement the fixes with your team, then stay on as your risk and platform team on a monthly retainer if you want that.
Start small with an audit. Most clients move to a retainer only after they see the report. Every engagement is scoped and priced before work starts.
A one-time review that shows exactly where money is leaking and what to fix first.
One or two areas handled every week, such as risk and payouts, or platform and bridge.
We act as your outsourced risk and platform team across the whole operation.

Founder and CEO
Shervin has managed trading risk for 18 years. He started as a risk manager and chief dealer, running FX and precious metals portfolios of more than $500M, and has spent the last five years inside prop trading with mid-size and large firms.
As Director of Risk and Platforms at a prop firm, he owned every platform, the bridge, the LP relationships and the review of flagged and abusive trading, and led the team behind it. Most recently he was Chief Strategy Officer at a prop technology company, owning trading platform, risk and CRM strategy end to end. He has designed two trading platforms and built a risk system from the ground up.
The problems we fix are rarely obvious: payout leakage, correlated strategies across accounts, and liquidity pressure that only shows up at scale. There is usually a structural fix.
Results shown come from past roles and client engagements and are not a promise of future results. Every firm is different: outcomes depend on the firm's programs, rules, trader base, platform and liquidity setup, and market conditions, and are assessed case by case.
We know where prop firms lose money because we have sat in the seat that has to catch it.
Not for the first call. For an audit we ask for read-only access after an NDA is signed. Any wider permissions for hands-on work are agreed in writing first and limited to that scope.
Only if you want that. Most clients keep their team and use us for the parts they do not have in house, or as a senior second pair of eyes on payouts and flagged accounts.
Yes. Program design, platform and bridge choice, risk rules, entity setup, AML policy and payment providers. Getting these right before launch is far cheaper than fixing them after.
MT4, MT5, Match-Trader, cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker, the bridges that connect them to liquidity, and the CRMs around them. We also handle migrations between platforms, including symbol and contract-size mapping.
Yes. The same work applies to FX and CFD brokers: A-book and B-book routing, exposure, execution quality and toxic flow.
The audit report lands in about two weeks. Rule and config fixes usually show up in your payout and margin numbers within the next one or two payout cycles.
30 minutes, no cost and no system access. If we are not the right fit, we will say so and point you to someone who is.
